Digital Dental X-ray

DIGITAL X-RAYS

Dentists use x-rays for many reasons: to find cavities, bone loss, or hidden structures. Digital x-rays require significantly less radiation than traditional dental x-rays.

Mouthguards and Night guards

A mouthguard is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches, lips and gums. A mouthguard is most often used to prevent injury in contact sports, as a treatment for grinding, or TMD.

Crown and Bridge Work

A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. Crowns are often needed when a large cavity threatens the ongoing health of a tooth or after root canal therapy. Crowns are often used to improve the strength or appearance of teeth.

Dentures

Full and Partial Dentures

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. Conventional dentures are removable; however, there are many different denture designs, some which anchor to remaining teeth or dental implants.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is a treatment for the pulp of a tooth to remove infection or a dead nerve. It involves the removal of the soft tissue and nerve within the tooth, the subsequent shaping, cleaning, and decontamination of the nerve canals, and the filling of the decontaminated canals with a filling.

Extractions

A dental extraction is the removal of a tooth. Extractions are performed for a wide variety of reasons, including tooth decay that has destroyed enough tooth structure to render the tooth non-restorable.

Veneers

Dentures are prosthetic devices constructed to replace missing teeth. Conventional dentures are removable; however, there are many different denture designs, some which anchor to remaining teeth or dental implants.

Implants

Lane Family Dentistry consults closely with our referring oral surgeons and periodontists to provide comprehensive implant care. We restore implants in a variety of options to fit your budget, including fixed bridges, snap-on dentures, or individual implant crowns.

Restorations

A dental restoration or dental filling is used to restore the function, integrity and shape of missing tooth structure. The structural loss typically results from decay or trauma, such has chipping or cracking.
